✅ Step 1: Make Sure You Have a Facebook Business Page

Comment Catcher only works with Business Pages (not personal pages or groups). That’s Facebook’s rule, not ours.

How to check:

  • Go to your page on Facebook.

  • If you see Followers → that’s a Business Page.

  • If you see Friends → that’s a Personal Page.

  • If you see Members → that’s a Group.

👉 If you only have a Personal Page or Group, reach out. We’ll walk you through adding a Business Page to your Facebook account.



✅ Step 2: Use Two Devices


You’ll need two internet-connected devices:

  1. Device One: A phone or tablet with the Facebook app → this is what you use to run your Live sale.

  2. Device Two: A second phone, tablet, or computer → this runs Comment Catcher side by side with your Live.

This setup makes sure you see every comment clearly without missing a sale, question, or share.

For the best experience with Comment Catcher, please use one of these browsers on your second device:

  • Google Chrome (Windows, Mac, Android Phones & Tablets)

  • Safari (Mac and iOS devices)

  Please login to your Facebook account on one of these browsers (www.facebook.com)   Note: Being logged into the Facebook Application is not enough, you need to be logged into www.Facebook.com with your account that has access to a business page. 





4) Login to www.LoyalShops.com/login and choose Sign In

5) Open the Comment Catcher > Settings Menu to customize your live experience.

If you’re currently using Live Assistant instead of Comment Catcher, don’t worry — just contact us and we’ll help you transition.  Live Assistant was previously used to catch comments, but our new Comment Catcher is easier to use, more powerful, and costs no more. You’ll get all the benefits we’ve shown here, plus new features designed to make your Live sales smoother and more successful.

 Introduction Instructions Comment

This is the very first comment dropped into your Live by Comment Catcher.

  • By default, it says: “Thanks for Shopping with [Your Boutique Name].”

  • In Settings, customize this to mention your boutique name and give shoppers a quick idea of what you’re selling or how to shop.


⚠️ We recommend keeping links out of this section — Facebook may block welcome comments with more than one URL.


• Introduction Link Text

Right after the welcome message, Comment Catcher can drop a link for new shoppers.

  • By default, it says:

    “🌱🙋 New shoppers, please register:”

    followed by our standard registration form link.

  • You can keep this, replace it with your own form, or use a direct link from your MLM provider.


👉 Two big benefits of using the LoyalShops registration link:

  1. If a shopper registers during your Live, the link will bring them right back into your Live stream.

  2. Every registration is added directly into your LoyalShops account, so you can email them with your included “Email Your Shoppers” feature (up to 6 times a week, to as many as 10,000 customers).


• Custom Keywords

You can set up 4 keywords that trigger automatic replies during your Live.

Examples:

  • SHOP → reply with your online store link.

  • FOLLOW → ask customers to follow your page.

  • REGISTER or #NEW → show your registration form link.

  • SHIPPING → share return policy, costs, or timing info.

  • TEAM → drop your team join link.


Once you add a Custom Keyword and its Live Response, don’t forget to enable it using the Enable/Disable toggle.


Why this matters:

These auto-replies save you time and energy. Customers get instant answers, links, and instructions — while you stay focused on selling, entertaining, and engaging.

Note: Only include one link per comment area and put the link as the last item in the Live Response Comment Box.  Once you fill out a Customer Keyword and Live Response, you need to enable the Response comment for it to work in your next live.

When you're ready to start your live!


6) Under the Comment Catcher Menu by clicking it, choose "Start Comment Catcher"

7) Choose "Continue with Facebook"

8) Then Continue with your Personal Facebook Profile Name .

notes: If your asked to login, use your Facebook email & password, not Loyalshops.  Additionally, verify it's your Personal FB Profile Name is mentioned (not a family member or friends or old FB account of yours), if not, your likely logged into Facebook on a browser on this device under someone else's account.  You need to go to facebook.com on any browser you have on the device your using: i.e.  chrome, safari, wave, edge and make sure your only logged into your Facebook account.  By continuing your enabling our live assistant service to help you with your live. 


9) Click the Teal drop down "Choose Page / Platform and pick the business page you wish to go live on.  


10) Choosing Your Live & Connecting.  Once you pick your business page your going live on, then 2 or 3 options appear.
       
 Option 1 - Click here to start automatically - Choose this option if you are on your own business page or know that no one else is currently live on the page you wish to use.   Once chosen, Comment Catcher will tell you it's ready for you to start your live, and when you're ready, start your live in the same business page on a second device.

Note, you can use the Font Enlarge and Font Shrink Icons in the Toolbar now or anytime during the live to adjust the size of the Live Comments..

Comment Catcher will start up automatically to help you once you start your live on a second device, then your Comments will start showing and scrolling on the screen. 

 Option 2 - Choose Your Running Live - If you forget to pre-start Comment Catcher and you're already live, you will see your live already showing with a RED DOT and Live Now, just click on your live there to connect to it, and you're good.

Note: We recommend always creating a Live Description for your Facebook Live, including your store name and what you're selling.  It is helpful marketing for your business. 

If you have previous & recent lives that you didn't run Comment Catcher on, you may see a Posted Live Section as well, and you can click on any link there and create a Comment History of those lives as well.



Once you have chosen a live video, we will continue to pull comments for the live stream, even after it is over and you have left the comment catcher page.   You can go to the Comment Catcher > Comment History menu if you wish to review any previous Comment History.  We keep live history for up to 30 days. 

Once you are live, your comments will scroll down the screen.  At the top of the page, you will find a toolbar.  You can search at any time for anything in the live, like all comments by a specific customer, a product, a number, or a phrase.  Just click the X in the search box to return to live comment scrolling.  


Once the live is over, you can leave Live Dashboard.   If customers watch the replay, their comments will continue to be added to your Comment History, even if your devices are logged out of Loyalshops.  

When you wish to review your live after, use Comment Catcher / Comment History. 

 


Here you will see a of your recent live transcripts that have been captured and this gives you the ability to get a summary of your lives, listing new customers, how many new customers, number of customers on the live, how many comments were in each live, and a transcript of  100% of the live comments from your live.  You can then use the Highlighting feature to bold key words/phrases and color highlight the full comments on action comments like sales requests, questions, problems, mentions of colors, mentions of jewelry, etc.  You can open any live summary to review that live and search it in.  If all lives are closed and you use the search function, it will search ALL lives for your search criteria.  Other options include adjusting the font size, sorting the lives by newest comments on top or oldest comments on top, printing the live and  & export them to a .CSV spreadsheet.
